passed the baton

the good times just keep rolling!

shell came to town last night and and i handed over the reins for the slumber party. the girls ate up ever second of each other!! we played lots of janga, watched even more movies and changed more diapers than ever!!

today we kissed our kids and set off for our adventure.... more details just below!

there is some thing about this picture that makes my day.... any guesses? it show just a tiny bit of lottie lou's presence in our house. i miss her already!

she's so silly. why does she have a band aid on her forehead? how did it get there? oh, she probably pushed the stool into the bathroom, took a break to play in the toilet, then climbed up and got it her self! and it probably only took her 36 seconds too!

After 2 hrs and 45 mins of sleep we headed out to like -26 degree weather.

why choose to visit canada in JANUARY you may ask?!?

well we have plans to show this friendly country a teeny tiny bit of WILD FLORIDA!!

1. i added 2 more kids to the pot. sissy and jwh went to provo this weekend. We've been living one big fat slumber party since thursday! I told sam last night that i totally could do 5 kids. he laughed and said lets do it... right now! ha!

2. charlotte climbed to the top of grandma's hardwood stairs

DOWNs

1. charlotte fell from the top of grandma's hardwood stairs... poor baaaby!

2. flash our yellow celestial canary (more on him to come) was eaten by stray cats (more on them to come). It was devastating. i miss his sweet songs.

3. melody our celestial hen (more on her to come) was eaten by either the stray cats or the fox.... she laid her first egg ever (we've had her since june) yesterday!

What will today bring other than rexamonie pooping and peeing on my bed....we shall see!

the grizz and his cub

the weather was perfect, the water was calm and my babe had the itch!

he loaded up his buddy and gear into a canoe and off they went across the lake.

they left with only a tent, sleeping gear, water, tin foil, candy and a lot of baby wipes. (the grizz is totally incapacitated with a little bit of sticky on his hand)

they set a trot line.

they caught their dinner.

and they slept in the woods by the water.

for these 2 boys it really doesn't get any better!
except if they had their munny munns

I can not believe it already the middle to end of January... i haven't even gone through the 700 picture I've taken between December and now. YIKES

Our Christmas Eve dinner was a good as ever.

if only santa had brought me a new camera like he did for every other woman in america. so it seems!

i may not have gotten a new camera... there's always next year but i did get some delish perfume and a to die for bag, so no complaints here!

in all seriousness, Christmas really is my favorite time of the year. Emotions run high for lots of reason...

1. The stress of making the perfect Christmas card. I tell my self every year that i'm going to just buy them and then it comes down to the wire i cant commit and end up making it! = STRESSFULL and fun!

2. Christmas music = love

3. Finances... speaks for its self

4. shopping = delightful

5. baby jesus = joy and hope

6. Mary's knowledge of what to come = heartbreak

7. Christ's sacrifice for us = gratitude and love

8. clam dip, tomatoes casserole, pecan pie, cream shrimp on toast.... food = happiness

9. my little and big family = excitement and happiness

10. reflecting back on the year and looking forward to the next = regret, success, happiness, excitement, anticipation and every other feeling that iv'e felt and will will feel all wrapped up!

I grateful for my Christ and for the sacrifice that he made for all of us.

we all will have trials and make mistakes but because of him we can be perfect

and live with him and our families for eternity.

That's why Christmas is my favorite.

my 3 year old girl...

well 3 and 1 month

my sweet little girl is getting so big, so old, and so smart.

from the very start of her life she had been such a sweet little miss. she was such a good baby.... if i was guaranteed babies like her i'd have a dozen!

it was so fun to see her body grow taller, her hair grow longer and her mind grow bigger this past year.

kitty is a princess girl. she loves everything in her world to be pink. she's a master janga player and candy land lover. she loves her nap time bottles and will down a diet coke before you can say no! she's really good at putting her babies and barbies to sleep and makes sure the house is quite for them. she's a talker but doesn't feel the need to say much. she loves to say the prayer and lead the music in FHE. she's easygoing and always working. she love to sing and dance and never misses a chance to do either. she's a meat eater but doesn't like butter. she love's her brother and keeps up with him while... catching lizards, swinging like a maniac, playing bad guys and building legos. she is very smart but a little forgetful. she loves to make her baby sis laugh. she's a lover of all animals and has no fear of them. she's a fisher girl and a fast bike rider. She love to have the windows down and feel the wind blow through her hair. she's never "me too" but alway "me three". she's a great colorer and makeup artist. has an opinion how she wants her hair to look and love to dress her self. she a relax in bed with a show girl. she a excellent cleaner upper. she's now a sunbeam girl. she's a perfect daughter, friend, cousin, sister, granddaughter, child of God girl! kitta is her brother's favorite "prey" and her sissy's best friend. she's her daddy's little princess kittarella and her mama's shopping, make-up, cooking and cuddling in bed girl.

she's our oldest little lady and we are so happy she's our girl for ever and all eternity!
