I'm dying over PINK!

Last Saturday my sisters and most amazing neighbor, Linnea threw me the most darling baby shower. We had so much fun! Shelly spear headed the shindig and did a GREAT job! She had the all guest embellish onesies which turned out so cute! Kate will defiantly have lots of adorable things to wear!

The food was delicious… a pregnant girl couldnt’t have asked for more chocolate! They served fondue for dinner along with the famous Book Club Salad (for those of you who haven’t tried it I’m so sorry, but it is the most amazing salad EVER). After a few unsuccessful attempts at the cheese fountain they finally resorted to a crock pot. For those of you who are fondue savvy… the cheese fondue and chocolate fountain rivaled Melting Pot! Not to mention we had delicious things to dip into both. We were however eating chocolate fondue for Sunday dinner also because there was so much… YUM!!!

I just want to thank my darling sisters and Linnea for throwing an amazing shower for my little girl and me! Seriously Linnea there has never been a better neighbor known to a girl than you! Thank you! Thank you!! Thank you!!!

Pine Grove Road...

So we thought when we moved into our house on Pine Grove Rd. we were on a nice quite street... hardly any neighbors and not a whole lot of traffic... UNTIL.... The county decided to widen the main road that Pine Grove Rd. intersect with it. For the past few months it has been a circus around here!

3 weeks ago there was a little BOMB threat on my father’s property that surrounds our house. The fancy part about this simple little BOMB threat is that they put in on a gas line that runs for miles and miles (by the way my house is about 1/4 mile from the gas line.)... Needless to say East and West 192 was shut down for like 6 hours for about 7 miles or so. Luckily after they evacuated the area for hours they found out that the BOMB is was fake!

Part of the BOMB squad assessing the potential damage.

Today one of the dump trucks that had just filled a full load of dirt was going down pine grove road...as they do all day long now. A paint van was pulling off Lake Lizzie Drive and didn't stop completely (our house is on the corner of Lake Lizzie and Pine Grove). The dump truck hit the van... not much damage but it caused the dump truck to veer onto our across the street neighbors immaculate yard. When the driver tried to get back on the road the dump truck flipped completely over pouring all it's dirt into our poor neighbors yard and drive way. Ahh, that really stinks. So for the past few hours they have had bobcats and trackers trying to clean all the dirt up. Yes yet again Pine Grove Rd. has been shut down for about 4 hours now!

They had two of the biggest tow trucks I’ve ever seen trying to flip it back over. There is a picture of our poor neighbor's yard filled with dirt!

My Boys

This weekend I went to Vanessa recital in Melbourne. My babe sent me this most adorable picture in the middle of the performance! He really knows how to pull on my heart strings. As i was leaving him and Austin were starting a fire and getting ready for their night of fun. My most favorite thing in the world to do is sit at home with these cutest boys and enjoy our time together!

Party Time!

Tonight we had a little family birthday party and BBQ for Austin. The night consisted of chasing chickens, some good old BBQ (you know if Sam's behind the grill it’s gonna be GOOD), a piñata, some gifts, a nice warm fire and airplanes, airplanes and more airplanes. He had so much running around with all his cousins and getting as dirty as he possible! And not to toot my own horn but TOOT TOOT the cake I made was amazing! Although it took days and lots of re dos I finally got it done with mins to spare before the party started.

James helped Austin catch this chicken

Austin caught on to the whole piñata thing and really got into it!

The Grill Master!

Austin was so excited when he saw his "neee" cake... (that's short for airplane)

Austin with the boy cousins. He tried his hardest to keep up with these guys and they are so good about including him.

Austin was really excited about all his new gifts... this picture says it all!

Even though the balloons posed as a death trap, he didn't let them leave his side!

Go-Dad initiated Austin into real boyhood by giving him his first gun or should I say three guns.

The Blasted Cake...

Austin's obsession with airplanes was satisfied tonight with the cake, the gifts and the airplanes flying over our house! It was so fun for us to see our boy enjoying his birthday

This is a day that will go down in history! 2 year ago Sam and I embarked on the most amazing adventure... Parenthood. Austin was born into this world after about 24 hours of labor, punching in at 2:37am and weighing 8lbs 12 ounces. He came into our lives with a big wide grin and though that smile can turn in about 2 sec into screaming he is still the joy of our lives! Here are some of our favorite picture from the last two years...

Daddy doesn't enjoy candy like i do... luckily my little boys does!

Goodnight our little Halloween boy!

This was a great Halloween for Austin. He finally understood the point of trick-or-treating, he really liked to make monster sound at the scary decoration in store and such and he loved to wrestle his pumpkin... plus really loves candy!

The first item coming off...

I told Austin that if he took some good pictures for mommy that he could have some candy before bed... he was a real ham!
This was a pose he did all on his own... I tried to arrange him a little but this is how he wanted to sit!

HALLOWEEN

This year Austin and I went to the St. Cloud ward's Trunk-or-Treat. Austin went as the most adorable cowboy to ever live! He was very good about keeping his hat on but true to form as the night progressed his clothes came off in layers! By the end of the night he was shirtless (luckily we were home when that happened). We practiced saying "Trick-or-Treat" all day. He was pretty good about saying it to me but when we got to the trunks instead of saying it he would lift his boot up and show it off. He loves his boots.

Cowboy Austin & Indian Josie

He really enjoyed his lollipop and after it was gone he really enjoyed licking it off his face!
