a cute girl...

The Power of Attraction
Monday was Austin’s first day of Preschool. He is a big time mama’s boy and doesn’t like it when I leave him. Primary has been a HUGE accomplishment for him. As expected Monday morning as we walked in the door he turned, clutched on my leg and begged me not to go… pulling on my heart stings BIG TIME!! Mrs. Ann was so nice and invited me to stay a little bit with him. Just long enough for the cutest little girl to walk in. That’s all it took! Seriously, this little girl is probably the cutest little girl I’ve ever seen. Austin turned and looked at her and said with a sheepish smile (for those of you who have seen it you know… head down eyes looking up and a little wave) “Hi Elysia”. After that he could care less about whether or not I left him. He gladly gave me “huggies and kissies” and never looked back.

When I picked him up from school Mrs. Ann said that he had a really good day… lots of please, thank you, no thank you and yes ma’ams. Mr. Manners!! Apparently him and Elysia really hit it off and played all day together. Good thing for a cute girl to distract my cutest boy!

i love how big their backpacks look on them!
Today was his 2nd day of school and I have to say even though I cried leaving him the first day... shopping with just my little princess was REALLY NICE! I think we're going to get used to this preschool thing real quick!... do they have preschool for 19month olds or is that just daycare?!?

not yet monny....

Every day leading up to this glorious moment Austin would ask like 27 times…. Monny, are we going to ride the green bus? My answer had to be NOT YET… if I tried to say not today, on Saturday or just plain NO he would quickly correct me… no not yet monny, not yet!!!
... no just to our other car please
waiting at publix for the green bus to pick us up

these faces explain a lot of what he was feeling when the bus pulled up
... so so excited!!

Kate thought she was really fancy
a green bus that looks like a train… the only thing that could have made his day more is if an airplane was flying right beside us. I’m pretty sure the regular riders on this SCAT were so confused why we parked our car got on the public transportation bus and got off 2 stops later at our other car. Our boy loves green, buses, trains and airplanes. It was well worth our $1.25/per adult to see him so happy.

Thanks Shelly for the set up!
