Our much over due trip to Arizona was packed full of good times!
We spent some time in the Valley with Sam’s sister Anna, his brother Ben and their kids. Austin and the twins were best friends as soon as they saw each other! Then we went into the “volcanoes” (Austin refused to think the mountains were anything other than volcanoes) and spent some time in Pinetop with Grandma & Grandpa Haught. Grandpa and Sam took Austin on his first camping trip and he loved every minute of it! Kate thought she was big enough to stay in the tent too but after our fishing/FHE the girls went home. Pinetop was full of relaxing and delicious food! Kate really opened up to her grandpa Haught. Previous to our trip, she was terrified of men, but as soon as she saw her grandpa she was in love! She would wiggle out of my arms to be held by him!! After a few days in the mountains we went and stayed at Sam’s grandparent’s house in Gisela. We were taken very good care of by Frieda. She made delicious food and the best banana cream pie EVER! Austin really bonded with his great grandpa Austin.

They both have the same name… Austin Dale Haught. Next, we went back to Gilbert where we were able to spend more time with Anna and the girls and Sam’s buddies. On our last day we stopped by Grandma and Grampa Rogers in Tempe. It was so fun to see everyone and spend some time with our favorite Arizona people!!!
