Monday, April 21 was my dear mother, April Jo Cassell Munns’ birthday.
It was a good one.. She had all 10 kids there to celebrate with her.
{I have decided since there are so many things to do for one's birthday it should be spread out. In our family you get a birthday week.}
Without knowing what was to come, Mom took to the prolonged celebration idea and declared she was going to have a birthday weekend. It started…
Friday - she did NOT clean her office… then we went to Fat Boy’s for breakfast…

little did she know that we had flown Leah in from Ohio as the first of many surprises that this weekend held and we were going to crash their quiet little dinner.
She thought that was all but then Leah can from around the corner with her baby.
Mom screamed and TEARS started flowing from all around the table.
Sam declared that from now on for birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s days he was going to get her Leah.

Sunday - we all stayed up playing SPLIT (one of the best card games ever)

until we rang in the birthday. Just in time to pop the bubbly Jacob who flew in from Utah was standing there for the 2nd installment of surprises.
When she figured it out that he was standing behind her (with a 2lbs box of See’s chocolates)
another wonderful mother scream and more TEARS!

Monday – mom, dad, Jake, and Leah went out to the church ranch to check out their new camping grounds that we are planning part of our family reunion at.
Little did she know we had the 3rd and final SURPRISE
